Banners

Overview

The banner management system allows you to create and organize promotional banners displayed on your homepage. These banners are clickable images that link to specific URLs and can be reordered to control their display sequence.

Accessing Banner Management

To access the banner management section:

  1. Log in to your admin panel

  2. Navigate to "Customization" > "Banners"

Adding a New Banner

To create a new banner:

  1. Click the "Add New Banner" button in the top-right corner

  2. In the modal window, upload an image by:

    • Clicking "Upload a file" to browse your device

    • Dragging and dropping an image file

  3. Enter the destination URL where users will be directed when clicking the banner

  4. Click "Save" to add the banner

Image Requirements:

  • Recommended Resolution: 1920x400 pixels

  • File Formats: PNG, JPG, or GIF

  • Maximum File Size: 5MB

Managing Existing Banners

Viewing Banners

The main page displays all your banners in a table showing:

  • Order position

  • Preview thumbnail

  • Destination link

  • Action buttons

Editing a Banner

To modify an existing banner:

  1. Click the "Edit" button next to the banner you want to change

  2. Upload a new image or modify the link as needed

  3. Click "Save" to update the banner

Deleting a Banner

To remove a banner:

  1. Click the "Delete" button next to the banner you want to remove

  2. Confirm the deletion in the popup dialog

  3. The banner will be permanently removed

Reordering Banners

You can change the display order of banners by:

  1. Hovering over the drag handle (≡) icon on the left of each banner row

  2. Clicking and dragging to reposition the banner

  3. The new order is automatically saved when you drop the banner in position

Best Practices

  1. Image Quality: Use high-quality images that look good at the recommended resolution

  2. Loading Speed: Optimize images to balance quality and file size

  3. Consistent Sizing: Maintain consistent dimensions across all banners for a professional appearance

  4. Clear Call-to-Action: Use images that clearly communicate the purpose of each banner

  5. Regular Updates: Keep banners fresh by updating them periodically

  6. Mobile Responsiveness: The system automatically handles banner display on mobile devices

Troubleshooting

Common Issues:

  • Upload fails: Ensure images meet size and format requirements

  • Banners not displaying: Check that the image URLs are accessible

  • Drag-and-drop not working: Refresh the page and try again

  • Images appear distorted: Upload images at the recommended resolution

Notes

  • All changes to banners are immediately reflected on your homepage

  • The system maintains image proportions while displaying banners

  • Banner links open in new tabs by default

  • Deleted banners cannot be recovered
