Overview

The Keyword Giveaway System provides a real-time, interactive way to run chat-based giveaways integrated with Kick.com streaming platform. This system differs from the Raffle system in that it operates in real-time with active chat participation, using keywords to qualify entries rather than user registration.

Setting Up a Giveaway

Keywords

To start a giveaway:

1. Enter a keyword in the "Giveaway Keyword" field

2. Click "Start Giveaway"

3. A confirmation message will appear briefly indicating the keyword is active

When viewers type this keyword in chat, they are automatically entered into the giveaway. The system will track each participant in real-time, displaying their entry in the Giveaway Entries panel.

Best practices for keywords:

• Use unique, easy-to-type words

• Avoid common words that might appear in regular conversation

• Consider using special characters or numbers to make keywords more distinctive

Subscriber Luck Multiplier

The Subscriber Luck Multiplier increases the chance that a subscriber will win the giveaway:

• The slider ranges from 0% to 100%

• At 0%: Subscribers have the same chance as everyone else

• At 100%: Only subscribers can win (if any have entered)

• At values in between: There's an increased probability that a subscriber will be selected

For example, setting the multiplier to 50% means there's a 50% chance that a subscriber will be chosen as the winner (if any subscribers have entered).

Managing Giveaway Entries

Live Chat Integration

The system automatically displays live chat from your Kick.com stream in the "Live Chat" panel. This provides several benefits:

• Monitor chat activity without switching windows

• See keyword entries in context

• Identify badges and user roles (Subscriber, Moderator, VIP, etc.)

Entry Tracking

All users who enter the keyword in chat are displayed in the "Giveaway Entries" panel with:

• Username

• User badges (Subscriber, Moderator, Verified, VIP)

• Entry timestamp

Each user is only counted once, regardless of how many times they enter the keyword.

Winner Selection

Rolling a Winner

To select a winner:

1. Click the "Roll Winner" button

2. An animation will run for approximately 5 seconds

3. A winner will be randomly selected based on the configured Subscriber Luck Multiplier

4. The winner's username will be displayed with their badges and subscriber status

Tracking Winner Messages

After a winner is selected, a new panel appears showing:

1. Previous messages from the winner (up to the system's message cache limit)

2. A live tracker for new messages from the winner

This feature helps you:

• Identify if the winner is still active in chat

• Follow up with winner-specific instructions

• Ensure the winner acknowledges their prize

You can stop tracking winner messages at any time by clicking the "Stop Tracking Messages" button.
