Managing Bonus Hunt Predictions

Introduction

The Predictions module allows your audience to predict the outcome of your bonus hunts, creating an engaging interactive experience. This guide covers how to manage and monitor predictions for your hunts.

Enabling Predictions

To allow viewers to submit predictions:

1. When creating a new hunt, toggle on "Allow Predictions"

2. For existing hunts, click the Predictions status indicator to toggle between Active and Inactive

Note: Predictions should be enabled before revealing any game results to ensure fair participation.

Accessing Predictions

To view predictions for a specific hunt:

1. From the Bonus Hunts list, click the "Predictions" button for your chosen hunt

2. The number next to the predictions button shows the total number of submissions

Predictions Dashboard

The Predictions dashboard provides comprehensive information about viewer predictions:

Statistics Cards

The dashboard displays three key statistical sections:

Hunt Results

• Total Predictions: Number of submitted predictions

• Average Prediction: Average predicted end balance

• Average Highest X: Average predicted highest multiplier

End Balance Winner

• Details of the viewer whose end balance prediction was closest to the actual result

• Shows the prediction, actual result, and the difference between them

Highest Multiplier Winners

• Highest Multiplier Prediction: The viewer who most accurately predicted the highest multiplier

• Highest Multiplier Game: The viewer who correctly predicted which game would have the highest multiplier

Viewing Predictions

All user predictions are displayed in a table showing:

• User: Viewer name and profile picture

• End Balance: Their predicted final hunt balance

• Highest Multiplier: Their predicted highest multiplier

• Highest Multiplier Game: The game they predict will have the highest multiplier

• Date: When the prediction was submitted

• Actions: Options to manage individual predictions

Filtering and Searching

You can filter the predictions using several options:

1. Search for specific users in the search box

2. Sort by:

   • End Balance

   • Highest Multiplier

   • Date

3. Choose ascending or descending order

4. Click "Filter" to apply your selections

Managing Individual Predictions

To delete a single prediction:

1. Find the prediction in the table

2. Click the "Delete" button

3. Confirm the deletion in the prompt

Clearing All Predictions

To remove all predictions for a hunt:

1. Click the "Clear All Predictions" button in the top right

2. Confirm the action in the prompt

3. All predictions will be permanently removed

Warning: This action cannot be undone.

Best Practices for Predictions

• Enable predictions before starting your bonus hunt

• Consider setting specific rules for predictions:

  • Minimum and maximum values

  • Format requirements for game names

  • When predictions close

• Announce winners during streams for maximum engagement

• Use prediction results to create leaderboards or contests

• Disable predictions once you start opening bonuses

• Consider offering prizes for the most accurate predictions

Integration with Other Features

The Predictions module works seamlessly with:

• The Game Tracker to automatically compare predictions with actual results

• User profiles to identify and track participants

• Chat commands (if configured) to allow prediction submissions through chat
